NEW THIS YEAR! Something Lucky This Way Comes

Friday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m.
The F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre

If you enjoy doing something special for St. Patrick's Day but would prefer to shun the rowdy pub scene; if you'd rather hear the strains of Irish music without the added elements of noisy carousers; and if you want to hear a wonderful collage of readings from the great Irish writers who convey the poetic voice of the Celtic people, then Something Lucky This Way Comes is a perfect Saint Paddy's Day event for you! From the silly to the sublime, we'll traverse the centuries — from Yeats, Synge, Joyce, Beckett, and the Irish-American playwright Eugene O'Neill, to the unknown writers of traditional Irish tales and tunes. This 90-minute homage to the classic Irish tradition will feature six wonderful performers who will bring a tear to your eye and a spring to your step as the evening wraps up!

Something Wicked This Way Comes

Monday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m.
The F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre

This annual offering kicks off Halloween week and features company members and guest artists in an eerily entertaining staged event! Musician and composer John Hoge provides live accompaniment on the theremin, supplying spine-chilling sounds as the backdrop for this presentation of classic horror tales. Something Wicked conjures up scary fun for the season of ghosts, ghouls, and goblins.

Something Merry This Way Comes

Monday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m.
The F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre

Our annual holiday gift for our audience, Something Merry is just that – a collage of merry holiday tales, songs, and poems read by company members. We try to provide an antidote to the commerical glitz and blitz that permeates our lives each year at holiday time with this refreshing, nostalgic celebration of all the good things that the season symbolizes and encourages.
