The 2010 Season
Celebrating the 20th Anniversary
of
Artistic Director Bonnie J. Monte
It's hard to believe I've been at The Shakespeare Theatre for 20 years. I truly mean it when I say the time has flown by, and I suppose that's as good an indication as any that my life here has been immensely fulfilling. My commitment to leading this institution remains fierce and steadfast, and I feel so lucky to have a job that has brought me "twenty hundred thousand times more joy" than I could have ever imagined. And so, I send out a thunderous chorus of bravos to everyone who has graced our halls with their unflagging dedication, impeccable artistry, or eager anticipation of seeing a play. I thank you profoundly for the multitude of joyous moments that have made my 20 years here a most sublime and ever-unfolding adventure. Here's to many more voyages and "twenty hundred thousand times more joy" still to come!
