Study & Audience Guides

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is pleased to assist educators by providing comprehensive audience guides for each of our Main Stage and Shakespeare LIVE! productions. Student Activity Guides are made available for touring productions and shows presented in our Student Matinee series. These guides are provided free of charge to assist teachers in preparing students to view the plays and integrating the play into their classroom curricula.

Each study guide contains a brief synopsis; background information on the author, the play, the production and its themes; pre- and post-show activities to enhance the educational impact of the students' theatregoing experience; and a select bibliography.

Each guide is the property of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, but may be reproduced freely for educational use by groups attending The Shakespeare Theatre productions.
