Sponsorships

Each year, The Shakespeare Theatre presents five to six productions on its Main Stage, the F. M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, located on the bucolic campus of Drew University, which take place from May through December.

Season Sponsorship Benefits may include:

• Recognition and logo placement in the season brochure which mails to 20,000 households
• Recognition and coverage as a Season Sponsor in a major press release distributed to more than 900 local, regional, and national media outlets
• Equal recognition in press releases for every Main Stage production
• Prominent placement of your company's logo and official Season Sponsor status on each production postcard, distributed to approximately 10,000 homes and businesses in advance of each show's opening
• Prominent placement of your company's logo and official Season Sponsor status on all patron emails related to the productions, distributed to approximately 26,000 patrons in advance of each show's opening
• Recognition and logo placement in print media for all productions
• Name recognition and logo placement on title page of the each production's playbill (approximately 6,000 per production)
• Full page ad in each production's playbill (approximately 6,000 per production)
• Six complimentary tickets for the Opening Night of each production
• Acknowledgment on digital display screen in Theatre’s lobby
• Public acknowledgement in the Artistic Director's Opening Night curtain speech
• 20 complimentary tickets for a performance of your choice during the run of each production (excluding Opening Night) including a pre-performance reception in the VIP Patrons' Lounge
• 20% discount tickets for employee or client entertainment for up to 100 guests (subject to availability)
• Listing in the donor roster of all Main Stage season programs
• Recognition and logo placement on The Shakespeare Theatre's website, ShakespeareNJ.org, with an optional embedded link to sponsor's website
• A 10% discount on tickets for all employees for any Main Stage production during the season (based upon availability)

Each season at The Shakespeare Theatre is designed to appeal to lovers of great theatre in its many forms, whether Shakespeare or other classics, from the ancient Greeks to the modern masters, from comedy to tragedy. There is sure to be something appealing to everyone.

Production Sponsorship Benefits may include:

• Recognition and logo placement in the season brochure sent to 20,000 households

• Prominent placement of your company's logo and Production Sponsor status on the production postcard, sent to approximately 10,000 homes and businesses in advance of the show's opening.
• Prominent placement of your company's logo and official Production Sponsor status on all patron email related to the sponsored production, distributed to approximately 26,000 patrons in advance of the production's opening
• Recognition and logo placement in other print & digital media associated with the sponsored productions, as applicable 
• Name recognition and logo placement on the title page of the production's playbill (approximately 6,000)
• Full page ad in the production's playbill for the sponsored production
• Four complimentary tickets for the Opening Night of the sponsored production
• Public acknowledgement in the Artistic Director's Opening Night curtain speech
• 20 complimentary tickets for a performance of your choice during the run of the production (excluding Opening Night) including a pre-performance reception in the VIP Patrons' Lounge
• 20% ticket discounts for employee or client entertainment during the run of the production for up to 20 guests (subject to availability)
• Listing in the donor roster of all Main Stage season programs
• Acknowledgment on the digital display screen in Theatre’s lobby
• Recognition and logo placement on The Shakespeare Theatre's website, ShakespeareNJ.org, with an optional embedded link to the sponsor's website
• A 10% discount on tickets for all employees for any Main Stage production during the season (based upon availability)

Each Opening Night at The Shakespeare Theatre is a very special occasion, attended not only by many of our loyal patrons, but also by important members of the community, company artists, and the press.

Exclusive Opening Night Series Benefits may include:

• Signage prominently displayed at each Opening Night reception announcing your business as the official sponsor of STNJ’s  Opening Night(s)
• The opportunity for your business to have a representative on hand to greet our patrons.
• Prominent placement of your company's logo and official Opening Night Sponsor status on each production postcard, distributed to approximately 10,000 homes and businesses in advance of each show's opening.
• Prominent placement of your company's logo and official Opening Night Sponsor status on each production patron email blast, distributed to approximately 26,000 patrons in advance of each show's opening.
• Four complimentary tickets for each of the productions sponsored. Tickets may be used for the Opening Night performance, or another date of your choice, subject to availability.
• Public acknowledgment in the Artistic Director's Opening Night curtain speech
• Listing in the donor roster of all Main Stage season playbills
• Recognition and logo placement in other print & digital media associated with the sponsored productions, as applicable 
• Recognition and logo placement on The Shakespeare Theatre's website, ShakespeareNJ.org, with an optional embedded link to your website
• Acknowledgment on the digital display screen in Theatre’s lobby
• A 10% discount on tickets for all employees for any Main Stage production during the season (based upon availability)

Sponsorships are available for single Opening Nights, subject to availability. Single Opening Night sponsorships include all benefits listed above but are limited to the selected production.

The Shakespeare Theatre's Annual Gala welcomes approximately 300 guests, artists, and community leaders who enjoy a black-tie reception and fabulous performances featuring luminaries from stage and screen. STNJ’s Gala is often hailed as “the best arts gala in the state.”

Gala Sponsorship Benefits may include:

• Recognition as the Gala Sponsor in a press release distributed to more than 900 local, regional, and national media outlets
• Public acknowledgement in the President of the Board's Gala address
• A Gala table for 10 with top priority seating
• Recognition in prominent signage displayed at the Gala
• Full-page advertisement in the Gala program
• Full-page advertisement in the subsequent season's opening production playbill
• Listing in the donor roster of all Main Stage season playbills
• Recognition and logo placement on The Shakespeare Theatre's website, ShakespeareNJ.org, with an optional embedded link to your website
• A 20% discount on tickets for all employees for any Main Stage production during the season (based upon availability)
